Corn Moon Dinner 2019

Normally, when we’re able to go outside and host dinner for friends safely, I host a monthly full moon dinner series with my partners. I have a pretty small yard, and 12 place settings of fine china, so it’s limited to 12 guests for now.

We didn’t go very literal with the corn theme on this one because it was fairly impromptu - instead, we used as much as possible from local farms and the garden. It’s extra cool (and hyperlocal, I guess) to eat the food when you’re less than 20 feet from where it was grown.

Thanks especially to Paul + Joe + Jeneen for bringing wine, Scott for bringing a nice gin + some tonic materials, and Katie for photographing this month’s gathering and making us all look pretty.

Enjoy!
